The artwork explores the event taking place when two colors clash, and when chromatic additive interference is applied

The light dome placed in the middle of the dark room, which had empty walls reminiscent of a white canvas, was the inspiration to project colors and textures on the wall to create a festive atmosphere and start a conversation. It acts as a spatial organizer and as a sensory experience as well. On the other hand, the light projected through cellular polycarbonate covered with color filters, creates depth of color, different hues and textures on the dome itself, encouraging visitors to explore and move around the space.

Through DMX programming, smooth light movements were created, leading to make the experience morph, and the light to speak for itself. People’s perception changes depending on their position. The artwork establishes a dialogue with the audience and make them be a part of the experience and the piece as one. Commissioned by Light Collective for the Darc Awards ceremony in London (09.2017)
